BBC Children in need 2020 is here! This year the appeal week is the 9th – 13 November.

We know this year has been a year like no other and fundraising might look slightly different but we’re here to help.
With our range of free-to-use planning materials, fundraising ideas and classroom resources that seamlessly tie in with everyday lessons, we hope to continue to help make a real difference and make fundraising ever more rewarding than ever, for the sake of children who need it most.”
There are masses of resources available freely for use on and around the event, all sorts from bingo games to code breakers. There are teacher presentations and worksheets, linked to the curriculum, such as: Differentiated Maths Calculation Activity Sheets and PSHE BBC Children in Need 2020 What makes us special!
Five to Thrive is the theme of this year’s work and it is based on well being. Towards that, is a challenge by Joe Wicks, the PE teacher that inspired so many during the main lockdown. Joe is doing activities for children each day hoping that they will join him in exercise.
Even if the whole country is back in lockdown (including schools – which does not look likely at the moment) there is interesting content here.
