Help Desk and Flexible Support Contracts

As educational establishments move towards cloud computing solutions, the demand for help desk support focused on school computing has increased. Our cloud help desk support service provides telephone and remote assistance, plus flexible onsite technical support and curriculum training all year round.

How does a Help Desk and Flexible Support Contract work?

All our help desk and flexible support contracts include unlimited telephone and remote support. The annual cost of our help desk support is based on pupil numbers which reflects the likely volume of support issues during the year. Onsite support is on a flexible “pay as you go” basis and sold in bundles of 20 hours which can be booked in to resolve technical issues, for staff training or classroom sessions with pupils.

How much will it cost?
The pricing of our help desk contracts is based on a pupil numbers. We offer unlimited help desk calls and remote support all year round. Onsite support is sold in bundles of 20 hours and can be booked in advance for call out support, installations, computing teaching and and training. There is no time limit on when the hours need to be used and your school can top up once the hours are used up.

Is staff training and CPD included?
YES – the bundled hours that form part of a Flexible contracts can be booked for onsite training with the focus agreed in advance; popular choices include Online safety, GDPR awareness and Coding.
Is the help desk support available during school holidays?
YES – telephone and remote support via our help desk is available all year round from 8.30 am until 4.30 pm. Our flexible support contracts also allow schools to buy onsite hours for computing support and training which can be booked in advance during school holidays.
Which geographic area do you support?
Flexible contracts including help desk support are available to schools all over the UK and are popular with schools and academies that require additional technical expertise plus installation and training support for their onsite technician.  All our consultants are Level 1 Google Educators and experienced G Suite support administrators, which mean this contract is also popular with schools that have moved to cloud computing via G Suite and Chromebooks.
Does it include teaching support?
YES – Computing support is free to all contracted schools via our curriculum hub: 123HUB. 123HUB creates two curriculum packs per term which are incorporated into our computing scheme of work: 123SOW. For classroom based teaching support, Flexible support hours can be used for one off classroom based computing teaching sessions if they are booked in advance.

YES – All our support contracts can be tailored to meet the requirements and budget of schools and academies. We can provide a free audit of your school’s IT infrastructure with a recommendation for the amount of support you need.
