Harry Potter at HomeHarry Potter At Home has been launched by JK Rowling for children who are in lockdown. It promises articles, video clips, puzzles and more for children stuck at home.

WizardingWorld.com is hosting Harry Potter At Home, a hub of information and activities for parents, children and carers to discover the magic of Harry Potter, by reading or listening on their own or together with loved ones, whilst staying at home. Explore the hub for a wealth of creative and craft activities, quizzes, puzzles and more. There will also be a weekly email newsletter bringing fresh ideas into inboxes each Friday. “(Wizarding World)

For Teachers: “J.K Rowling and her team have already announced a special, open licence for teachers to read the seven Harry Potter books aloud to their pupils in virtual read-a-long sessions on video. This means if you’re a teacher you’ll be able to record yourself reading Harry’s Hogwarts adventures and share these with your pupils online. Learn how to get involved here.” (Harry Potter at Home)

In addition, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is available to listen to on Audible’s new platform, stories.audible.com.  Children can listen to it as many times as they want to in the short term. There is a wordsearch, how to make Ravenclaw Shoelaces and a Harry Potter’s first year quiz to do at the moment. You can also visit the History of Magic exhibition at home and enjoy puzzles there.

Anyone interested can sign up for a newsletter , which is part of the registration process, to keep informed of what is new and exciting in the club!
