Suspension of 123ICT Computing Competitions and Computing Champions League. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting school closures, we are sorry to announce that we have decided to postpone our remaining planned computing competitions for this year and suspend the 123ICT Computing Champions League until the new academic year.
All league points already accrued by schools (see link to the league table at the bottom of this post) will be carried over to the new year. If any school has entries for the ‘Make my Floor Robot Go!’ competition, which was due to close at the end of the spring term, they may either submit them as usual, or hold on to them until the new academic year and submit them then.
We will publish the new schedule of competitions for 2020-21 at the start of the autumn term. The new schedule will include the postponed competitions from this year.
We also plan to launch two computing competition projects – one for Key Stage One and one for Key Stage Two – during the school closure period. More details of these projects will appear on this blog before too long. Watch this space…
