Purple Mash Update: Just in case there are readers here who did not get the messages from Purple Mash, here is the latest e-mail:
“We’d like to send a thank you and well done to all of you teachers and parents adjusting to home learning. We think you’re all doing an amazing job and have loved seeing all of the activities you set as 2Dos or worked on at home. This week, we’ve rolled out several new features across Purple Mash that you can use to support remote learning.
Have you seen our new teacher CPD platform? This new online training solution enables all teachers within school to access online training, CPD resources and short learning videos enabling you to make the most out of Purple Mash. There are 12 courses currently available, covering a range of themes including: Getting Started, Sharing Work and Administrators Tips.
We’ll be updating our Weekly Activity Section to support home learning. There will be activities for the following ages: 5 to 7; 7 to 9 and 9 to 11. Week 2 will be live from Monday and will include an overview of the activities along with instructions and then daily activities for the pupils including: Reading, Comprehension, Writing, Maths and Topic.
We are running a series of webinars looking at how Purple Mash can be used to support remote learning. These webinars will look at:
- Setting tasks or activities
- Managing tasks on Purple Mash
- Delivering a lesson in Purple Mash
- Communication, collaboration and sharing work
What a week you’ve all had! We’ve been sent some excellent pieces of work from several schools and parents across social media already! Remember to tweet us @PurpleMash or @2SimpleSoftware with your favourite pieces and how you are sharing your work. We’ve enjoyed seeing the creativity of your children. You can also contact us on Facebook or LinkedIn.“(2Simple Software)
