It is October already and we are now well into the busy autumn term. With time being a precious commodity for all teachers, why not let the 123HUB save you some of your valuable time and help you find the right quality resources that you need? Our featured theme for October 2019 is ‘Animation’!
An
imation. Using animation in the classroom is certainly an exciting advance in education technology. Animation allows children the opportunity to be really creative in designing their own comic strips, stories, movies and much more. They can use stop-motion, or computer animation to create amazing stories and games, or they could simply use a pencil and paper to create a basic flip-book animation. Whatever method is chosen, animation is a fantastic way to engage children in their learning.
We currently have over 40 super themed websites on offer; they primarily embrace the subjects of Computing, Art & Design and English but could effectively be used in support of other subjects, across the whole curriculum. Collectively, the resources include advice, tutorials, workshops, examples, software choices and much more besides. They comprise of a mixture of: information, facts, research, hands-on activities, illustrations and video clips, as well as some detailed planning – each of which will effectively underpin this fascinating and engaging topic.
Halloween. As Halloween falls in October, in addition to our main featured monthly theme above, we also include ten great Halloween resources. The resources include: activities, games, word searches and more, which teachers may find really useful
The featured theme is updated monthly during the school year. Watch out for our super ‘Creative Writing’ and ‘Bonfire Night’ resources, coming in November 2019!
