Our featured theme for September 2019 is:
‘Food Chains and Habitats’!
Our exciting new theme for September 2019 is ‘Food Chains and Habitats’. This topic will explore how plants and animals get their energy and where they may be located. All living things need food in order to give them the energy required to flourish and a food chain reveals exactly how each living thing gets its food and also illustrates just exactly what might be eating what!
We have 36 super themed websites on offer; they include resources that are suitable for KS1 and KS2 and embrace the subjects of Science and Geography. Collectively, the resources cover: how food chains work, what they consist of, what is eating what and why, as well as where on the planet animals and plants may be found and how they manage to live there. As usual, the themed resources comprise of a mixture of: information, facts, research, hands-on activities illustrations and video clips, as well as some detailed planning – each of which will effectively support this great topic.
The featured theme is updated monthly during the school year. Watch out for our great ‘Animation’ and ‘Halloween’ resources, coming in October 2019!
