Our featured theme for April 2019 is ‘News, Current Affairs and Fake News’!
The terrific featured theme for April is the interesting topic of News, Current Affairs and Fake News. We have 30 great themed websites on offer which cover:
- News websites for children, covering global and national issues.
- Current affairs, online sites and magazines, which will be of interest to children.
- What is fake news?
- What are the features of a newspaper?
- Newspaper report planning.
- How to use news and current affairs in the classroom.
The resources comprise of a mixture of: information, research, activities and video clips, as well as some detailed planning – each of which will effectively support this really important topic.
Easter
. As Easter falls in April, we also present over 20 Easter resources that may prove useful to teachers. The resources include: The Easter Story, Christian religious beliefs and lots of Easter art, craft and activities.
