Jessie and FriendsJessie and  Friends is a new online safety education programme for 4-7s produced by Thinkuknow. It is suitable both for use in school and at home so that the message is reinforced by parents and carers.

“Jessie and Friends has been awarded the PSHE Association Quality Mark, demonstrating that Jessie & Friends supports safe and effective teaching practice and meets the PSHE Association’s ‘Ten principles of effective PSHE education. All learning sessions are mapped against the PSHE Association Programme of Study and each relevant UK curriculum, including Relationships & Health Education (England) and Computing curriculums.”

The programme is a set of three videos and story books. The first, watching videos for 4 – 5 year old children. There is a great page of help and support for parents too.

The second episode is about sharing pictures, this is for aged 5 – 6 children and playing games is the third episode, for ages 6 – 7. There are resources with each episode.
