8 Fantastic Free Christmas Resources for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 are being shared by Teachwire.net These Christmas printables have been designed to inspire children over the last few days of term.
The first is a story writing sheet, with tips about story writing, to make children think about and plan their story, before they start writing.
The second is a letter to Santa; however, I am pretty sure those letters will already be on their way and the children don’t need a template!
There is a ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’ PowerPoint – I would use this to get KS 2 children to make a spreadsheet of all the presents that will get sent over the twelve days, but it could also be used to sing along to.
The fourth offering is interesting; it is a bank of 18 Christmas images chosen to inspire writing – they could be used as descriptive writing exercises, or as story starters. My favourite is the spaniel but there are also snowmen, cosy decorated rooms, huskies, all sorts of snowy winter scenes, Oxford Street in London, etc.
There are also a couple of pages of decorated borders, acrostic pages for Christmas and Reindeer, snowman, Santa Claus and more. Finally there are some Christmas bunting templates. It is a great little set of free Christmas Resources.
Doing a quick search on this site for 4 – 7 and 7 – 11 Christmas brings up about twenty-two different resources not just the eight shared on that page! Some templates are really not needed but some of the ideas may inspire!
