Our great new theme for November 2018 is ‘Animals and their Habitats’!

Animals and their Habitats. Our new topic for November 2018 is Animals and their Habitats. The study of animals and where they live holds a fascination for us all but especially for children. We have 60 tremendous themed websites on offer; they include resources that are suitable for KS1 and KS2. The resources embrace the subjects of Science and Geography and collectively, they cover:  what different species of animals exist and in what countries they may be found, their habitats, what they eat, how they adapt to their environments, their food chains, minibeasts and much more besides. As usual, the themed resources comprise of a mixture of: information, facts, research, hands-on activities illustrations and video clips, as well as some detailed planning – each of which will effectively underpin this very appealing topic.

Bonfire Night and the Gunpowder Plot. As Bonfire Night falls in November,  in addition to our featured monthly theme for that month, we also include sixteen great Bonfire Night and Gunpowder Plot resources, including the history and traditions of  the celebration, fireworks and firework safety and more; all of which, teachers may find really useful.

The featured theme is updated monthly during the school year. Watch out for our super ‘Christmas’ resources coming in December 2018!
