Young RSPCA Photo CompetitionThe Young Photographer Awards competition is running now until 15th August giving children lots of time to get the perfect photo to enter.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity for young people to get outside, learn about the natural world, and practise their photography skills.
We have some brilliant prizes on offer and the chance to attend our awards ceremony, presented by RSPCA President Chris Packham. So please encourage your pupils to get creative and send us their best animal images. Thank you!” Quoted from an email shared by Teach Primary

The Young RSPCA website has photo tips, photos for inspiration, last year’s video and lots more to help. “Love animals? Enjoy taking photographs? Then you’re in the right place. Our amazing competition is open to anyone aged 18 or under. Help us create a kinder world for animals by sharing your inspiring images.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re an experienced photographer or a keen beginner, you’ve entered before or you’re not sure where to start. Here at the RSPCA, we think animal photography should be for everyone.
Why? Because taking pictures of animals makes us notice how they live and their unique personalities. Looking through the lens of a camera or mobile phone helps us spot incredible wildlife. It can encourage us to see our pets in a whole new light.
Perhaps most importantly, sharing your beautiful photos of animals and the natural world helps others to appreciate them more too.”

There are so many ideas share for inspiration and the Young Photographer Awards competition would be a great idea for a summer holiday challenge.
