School Diversity Week is back in 2023, and being celebrated from 26 to 30 June!
Many children in primary schools come from LGBT+ families or will grow up to be LGBT+ themselves, yet 91% of children have heard negative comments about LGBT+ people during the past year. One sad fact is that those children are twice as likely to be bullied than other children.
This School Diversity Week, Just Like Us is hoping to change this. Use their free school resources to help create a supportive environment for young people who are LGBT+ or have diverse families, such as gay parents, two mothers, or two fathers.
