British Science Week 2023 is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering, and maths. It runs from the 10th to the 19th of March. The theme for this year’s event is connections!
“The free activity packs for British Science Week 2023, which will take place between 10 to 19 March 2023, are available to download now! We offer an Early Years pack, Primary pack, Secondary pack, and Community pack.
The theme for 2023’s packs and poster competition is ‘Connections’, and the packs provide fun and engaging ways to introduce this theme to the children.
Each pack, created with the support of UK Research and Innovation and 3M, includes a wide range of fun, hands-on activities, and loads of useful information for planning your events for the Week.”
There is also a Science Week 2023 poster competition that is now open until March 31.
“The theme this year is ‘Connections’, so there are loads of STEM topics that could be explored! How about exploring how our body parts are all connected and work together, the connection between our actions and the impact on our environment, or even how internet connection has changed the world.” Entries would need to fit either the Infants ( years 1 – 3 ages 5 -8) or Junior (years 4 0 6 ages 8 – 11).
