Adobe Express Video Maker is a great way to make class greetings, end-of-year messages home and sharing celebrations that have been recorded with photos, etc. Adobe Express used to be Adobe Shark but it has now been updated and renamed.
” Make a new project for free. Quickly and easily make standout content from thousands of beautiful templates with the all-new Adobe Express. Available on web and mobile.” (Adobe Express)
Richard Byrne, has created this really clear instructional video that shows how easy it is to use:
There is a special educational version suitable for use in schools and it is free. The educational features include everything needed, templates, fonts, music and photos, a safe video search, tutorials, courses, lesson plans, and more. The blog showcases much of what can be created.
Learn and grow together with educators like you. Connect and collaborate with like-minded educators by joining the Adobe Creative Educator program — earn badges, learn new Adobe skills, and get recognized for your creativity in the classroom!” (Adobe)
Adobe Express Video Maker is a great way to bring photographs to life, and add children’s voices to make them something really special to share with the school community, Christmas plays, any end of School leaving parties, summer barbeque, anything that is worth sharing!
The Community Guidelines for schools is a useful resource and helpful guide to share with children if they are using it:
“School-age users, please do not use Adobe Express to share your personal information (like full name, home address, phone number, email address, or anything else that would let someone locate or contact you in the real world). Educators and administrators can learn more about best practices for leveraging Adobe Express for Education in our Guide for Schools and Educators. Adult and business users, please use your good judgment.” (Adobe)
From reading the education section, it sounds as though there is a lot of the Adobe suite shared freely for schools, it is worth checking out!
