Paint, Donate, RememberPaint, Donate, Remember – Paint a Poppy Challenge is a great back to school activity which children would thoroughly enjoy doing. Children can make as many entries as they wish but it will obviously be something particularly outstanding in some way that will win the competition, because there will be thousands of entries. The Paint, Donate, Remember competition is being run by The British Legion and SAA. It is a competition being run for schools and the wining school will receive £500 worth of art materials.

“Paint, Donate, Remember

Paint a poppy, make a donation and be part of our special WWI 100th Anniversary celebrations”(SAA)

“Through the Paint a Poppy Challenge, we hope to inspire as many schools as possible to create their own display of poppy paintings and drawings.  And as a thank you for taking part, we’ll enter each school into a competition to win £500 of art materials.

This challenge is a fantastic way of encouraging school children to paint and draw, whilst learning about the First World War at the same time.  Let their creativity run wild with any materials you have to hand – collage, paint, coloured pencils…they will all make a great poppy painting!

The challenge is also aiming to raise vital funds for The Royal British Legion so, if you can, we would love for you to encourage donations for each student or your school.”(SAA)
