123HUB News for November 2017. It is November already and this last part of the autumn term always seems to really fly by! Our super new theme for November is ‘The Aztecs, Mayans and Incas’!
The Aztecs, Mayans and Incas. November’s featured theme is the fascinating topic of The Aztecs, Mayans and Incas. The study of the history and culture of these ancient American civilisations proves to be appealing and enjoyable for children. We have 36 excellent themed websites on offer. The resources encompass the subjects of History, Design & Technology, Geography and Art & Design. Collectively, the resources cover the ancient American civilisations of the Aztecs, the Mayans and the Incas, exploring the rise and fall of their empires, their culture, beliefs, technology and much more besides. The resources comprise of a mixture of: information, facts, research, hands-on activities, illustrations and video clips, as well as some detailed planning – each of which will effectively underpin this really appealing and inclusive theme
We also have some great Bonfire Night and Gunpowder Plot resources for you!
Bonfire Night and the Gunpowder Plot. As Bonfire Night falls in November, in addition to our featured monthly theme, we also included sixteen great Bonfire Night and Gunpowder Plot resources, including the history and traditions of the celebration, fireworks and firework safety and more; all of which, teachers may find useful and topical at this time of year.
And still there is more! We also have some great Remembrance Day resources!
Remembrance Day. As Remembrance Day also falls in November, we have, in addition, 12 really useful resources that will help cover this topic with KS1 and KS2. The resources provide: information, facts, activities, videos and planning ideas that will hopefully prove invaluable to teachers.
