Our super new theme for October is ‘Famous People’!
Famous People. This month we explore the interesting lives of famous people and their significant achievements. We have over 140 super themed websites on offer, a number of them from the great BBC Famous People series. The resources research the lives of such luminaries as: Charles Darwin, Sir Edmund Hillary, Sir Walter Raleigh, Nelson Mandela, Sir Winston Churchill, Captain Scott, Leonardo Da Vinci, Shakespeare, Samuel Pepys, Florence Nightingale, Mozart, Alexander Graham Bell and many more too numerous to mention.
All of our featured themes are made up of a mixture of teaching and investigation resources. They comprise of: information, facts, research, hands-on activities illustrations and video clips, as well as some detailed planning – each of which will effectively support our very engaging and wonderful topics
We also have some great Halloween resources for you!
Halloween. Halloween also falls in October and in addition to our main featured theme for this month, we also include ten great Halloween resources, including: activities, games, word searches and more, which teachers may find really useful.
The featured theme is updated monthly during the school year. Watch out for our terrific ‘Aztecs and Mayans’ resources coming in November 2017!
