bookday2015World Book Day 2015 is on March 5th! There are lots of resources readily available on the World Book Day website to help schools celebrate!

Teachers’ Toolkit. There is a freely downloadable TEACHERS’ TOOLKIT  which includes information about this year’s £1 books, assembly plans, display materials, activity sheets and information to share with parents/carers.
World Book Day Authors. There is a new set of 6 videos, featuring World Book Day Authors – none are more than 7 minutes long,  but may enable well known authors to be part of your class for the day!

What is WoBoD?  “WoBoD is the brand new World Book Day Award, to celebrate the tremendous work you do to promote Reading for Pleasure in schools. Thanks to the HUGE generosity of the bestselling author of the Middle School series, James Patterson, we have the opportunity to off†er 5 schools up to £10,000 of books to transform their school library.”(World Book Day Resources Pack)

Book Token Competition. The competition being run by World Book Day is for children to design and make book tokens, but, of course 123ICT are running their own competitions too – full details below:
