Managed IT Contracts

123ICT aim to raise the standard of computing in your school and the most effective way of doing this is via regular support visits. Our Managed IT contracts are tailored to meet the requirements and budget of schools / academies.

Which support contract do we recommend?

Support contracts range from five days a week to a half day every month and are delivered by a DBS checked computing consultant who is trained and motivated to address your technical, curriculum and procurement needs. Our most popular contract choices are as follows:

Platinum Contract

Whole day
Every week

Gold Contract

Half a day
Every week

Silver Contract

Half a day
Every fortnight

Bronze Contract

Half a day
Every three weeks

How much will it cost?

The pricing of our support contracts is based on a sliding hourly rate, linked to the frequency of visits. We do not charge our schools for ‘pop-in’ emergency support visits and the more often we visit your school, the less likely there will be issues in between visits. Therefore we are able to reward our more regular schools with cheaper hourly rates.

Can schools buy help desk support only?

YES – for schools that do not require an onsite consultant, we can provide telephone and remote support via our help desk. Our flexible support contracts also allow schools to buy onsite hours for computing support and training which can be booked as and when they need them.

Can you tailor support contracts to our particular needs?

YES – All our support contracts can be tailored to meet the requirements and budget of schools and academies. We can provide a free audit of your school’s IT infrastructure with a recommendation for the amount of support you need. We can also match the consultant to your needs and the amount of support can be adjusted as your priorities change. Just contact us with your particular requirements.

How do 123ICT contracts raise the standard of teaching and learning?

123ICT not only provide technical support, but we aspire to move schools forward by advising them on what equipment to invest in and by providing the training teachers need. Our Google for Education partner status, means we are uniquely placed to move schools towards cloud computing via Chromebooks and G Suite (see 123Cloud Computing website). We also run termly computing competitions to inspire teachers to attempt interesting computing projects with their students.

Which geographic area do you support?

123ICT are based just outside Oxford, but train and support computing consultants for schools / academies all over the country. All our consultants are Level 1 Google Educators and experienced technicians. As a company we provide the technical, curriculum and procurement backup our consultants need via our help desk and computing scheme of work. Our consultants meet on a weekly basis in teams which keeps them motivated and up to date with the latest computing developments.

Does it include teaching support?

Teaching support is available from 123ICT.   For classroom based teaching support, weekly contracts can be booked as computing sessions or PPA cover via one of our qualified teachers.  We also offer schools discounted access to our web-based Computing scheme of work: 123SOW

Is support available all year round?

YES – on-site visits from your dedicated consultant are term time only, but our help desk is open all year providing telephone and remote support during school holidays.
