Oxford Owl LibraryOxford Owl Library is available for families to use free of charge. Apparently, this started during lockdown but the ebook library does not seem to be widely known about. There is also a newsletter that parents can sign up for,  This is a monthly email packed with ideas and activities to keep parents up to date with the library.

“Our free eBook library has been created to help children aged 3–11 to develop their reading skills at home.

All our eBooks are free to use, but you will need to register or sign in at the link below to read your book.

Please note, our eBooks are not optimised for mobile phones and are best viewed on a computer, laptop, or tablet.”

This is an amazing service for families who may wish to read a wide variety of books with their children but may not have the finances to keep spending out on books that are read four or five times and then forgotten.

The books are split into age bands, 3 – 4, 4 – 5. 5 – 6. 6 – 7. 7 – 9, and 9 – 11. The whole Biff and Chip series are available, Winnie the Witch, some non-fiction books, and the Oxford Reading Tree.  Oxford Owl Library has hundreds of books available for parents to choose from. The range of titles is really fantastic.
