Create a Digital Game Competition Results

The 123ICT Computing Competitions for the 2021-22 academic year have now drawn to a close with the recent Create a Digital Game Competition. Our congratulations go to Rory Hartley from Woodstock Primary School for winning the competition and to Samrat Uprety from St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Bicester coming second.

 

2021-22 Results

The create a digital game competition was the last competition of 2021-22. The end of year results are:

2022 League Champions – St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Bicester

2022 League Runners-up – Didcot Primary Academy

KS1 Winners – St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Bicester

KS2 Winners – St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Bicester

 

Prizes & Awards

The well-deserved winners received the following great prizes and awards:

Computing Competition League Champions

The winning school received a Computing Champions League trophy and a super HP Chromebook 11A G8 Education, kindly donated by Prowise.  Full details of this great prize can be found here,

Computing Competition League Runners-Up

The runner-up school received a runners-up trophy and a year’s subscription to the fantastic 123SOW. This provides a completely cloud based computing scheme of work, designed for individual schools, or multi-academy trusts. It is a flexible, interactive scheme of work for the UK Primary Computing Curriculum.

 

KS1 Winners

The school that has accrued the most KS1 league points received a year’s subscription to the superb Cloud Stop Motion animation package, which runs directly in the browser on any modern device, with 100GB storage, kindly donated by Zu3D. 

 

KS2 Winners

The school that has accrued the most KS2 league points received one year’s subscription to the super  Python in Pieces which helps with the transition from block-based coding to Python – created and kindly donated by 2Simple.

 

 

Awards Presentation

We held a virtual awards presentation on the 19th of July to celebrate the success of the winning schools. It was great to congratulate the winners and present them with their well-deserved awards. Our thanks go to all the schools that took part in the presentation and to the generous sponsors, Prowise, 2Simple, Zu3D and 123SOW who kindly provided the great prizes.
