A certificate published by Exa Networks needs to be installed on each device within your network. This can be done on a per-machine basis however we have detailed how to deploy the necessary certificate below.

New OCN Broadband termination date

For the past two years, 123ICT have been working with schools in Oxfordshire to move them away from the OCN and onto commercial broadband provision.

The original target date for schools to move away from the OCN was December 2013 but many schools missed this date due to broadband availability in their area.

OCC have recently been in touch with 123ICT and the new target date is now 19th May 2014.

The remaining OCN schools are advised that their new service needs to be installed  by this new target ...

Free FTTC Upgrades

As faster broadband continues to be rolled out in Oxfordshire, EXA Networks are offering a free upgrade to FTTC for schools where it has become available. The FTTC speed is capped to the existing speed so schools keep the same annual billing (unless they want to upgrade).

123ICT will contact the schools where an FTTC upgrade is available and will work with EXA-Networks to reconfigure the router and ensure that the upgrade goes smoothly.

FTTC Broadband rollout in Oxfordshire

BBFOIn 2013, Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) was awarded their BDUK funding which will enable BT to rollout high speed Internet to the majority of the county by 2015.

Oxfordshire Headteachers’ Conference 2013

It was really good to catch up with both teachers and our partner companies at last week’s Oxfordshire Head Teachers’ Conference.
