During June, RM invited 123 ICT to meet their CC4 Store development team which allowed us the opportunity to evaluate CC4 Store on your behalf. The good news is that RM has listened to what many small primary schools have been asking for; an affordable replacement to the RM Store Box.
The cost for a new CC4 Store server, including installation and licencing is in the region of £5,000. For schools with under 40 curriculum computers it is ideal as it will cater for old XP or new Windows 7 workstations. If you outgrow RM CC4 Store, then you can upgrade to full blown CC4, which in our opinion is still the best networking solution for large primary schools. Two 123ICT schools have signed up for a field trial of CC4 Store and we will be closely involved with RM during the installation later this term.
