Nelson Mandela – Human Rights Activist

Posted by:

Nelson MandelaNelson Mandela, the famous human rights activist who suffered imprisonment and incredible hardship at times during his life, died on December the 5th 2013.

One of his most famous quotations is “No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”

The funeral, held on the 10th of December 2013, will inspire lots of work and discussion in schools around the globe.
