Textivate enables teachers to create instant interactive exercises using text and is well worth a look during half term.
It is simple to use … just go to the Textivate site and register for free. Then simply paste the chosen text (up to 500 words) into the window and click on ‘textivate now’.
There are several options, gap fill, missing vowels, ordering sentences or whole boxes. It is quick and easy to make exercises with this tool and may be really useful for making exercises for MFL lessons.
Once you have created your exercises you can share the page or embed the exercises in a wiki or blog using its embedding code.
