The first car invented over a century ago was vastly different than the one enjoyed today.

History of the Automobile – This is a very useful site, from TechRogers, that is easy to read and briefly covers the history and development of the automobile from its beginning to the present.

History of Cars for Kids – A very early history of the motor car.

Fun Kids Guide to Cars – This site starts to introduce children to some of the parts of the car, including the fuel, tyres and brakes.
