Here is a competition linked with Safer Internet day 2012 that may be of interest to schools! The competition is for families but any families getting involved will be addressing e-safety in the home so sharing this information with parents could be a winner for school and home!
From the Radiowaves blog:
“To celebrate the launch of Safe Family and Safer Internet Day on February 7th, Radiowaves is working with DigitalMe and Reallusion to provide parents with free downloadable resources, software and online space to plan and create animations with their children around the theme of e-safety. The animation can then be shared with others through the dedicated Radiowaves channel. Families who create the best films will receive copies of Crazy Talk Pro worth over £100, a set of Safe badges and have their films featured across the site. Closing date for entries is February 3rd 2012.”
The competition is to create an animation using the free trial version of Crazy Talk to promote online safety that is no longer than one minute and there is access to trial software which can be used to make it.
