123ICT ‘Make the Robot Go’ Competition Winners! Thank you to the schools that took part in our recent ‘Make the Robot Go’ competition. The competition involved the creation of a short Key Stage One programming video, filmed and directed by Key Stage Two children, starring Key Stage One children and using Roamers, Beebots or similar floor robot technology as equipment. The film was to be be a brief video showing the younger children explaining, creating and executing a simple program with the floor robot technology.
The quality of the videos that we received was really excellent, they thoroughly reflected the Key Stage One children’s growing confidence in using the programmable floor robots, along with the Key Stage Two children’s ability to use digital capture equipment effectively.
