Announcing Castles and Buildings as our fantastic featured themes on the 123HUB for May! 

Each month, we include many links to: research, planning and teaching resources from around the world – which collectively should hopefully satisfy the requirements of any related creative curriculum, or classroom topic. Our great featured theme for the month of May is:

castles - freeCastles and Buildings. This month’s featured theme is the interesting topic of Castles and Buildings. We have over 50 great themed websites on offer. They include many resources for KS1 and KS2 about castles and also a large number for KS1, covering homes, houses and buildings. The resources explore: how castles were built, where they are located, what materials were used to construct them, how they were defended, how they were attacked, and what it was like to live in them and much more besides. There are also many resources that illustrate how buildings are constructed, what they are used for, what materials are used to construct them and much, much more. The resources comprise of a mixture of: information, research, activities and video clips, as well as some detailed planning – each of which will effectively support this fascinating and wide-ranging topic.
