 Our Featured Themes for December 2016 introduce the festive subject of ‘Christmas’ and the delicious and interesting topic of’ Chocolate’.

For this festive theme, we have over 35 brilliant websites on offer. They cover: The Christmas Story, history, traditions, craft, activities, planning, lots of games and activities and much more besides. These great resources will hopefully help you through the busy Christmas period in school. We would also like to take this opportunity to wish a very happy and enjoyable Christmas to all of our readers.

1-chocolatemeltingChocolate.   In our supporting theme this month, we explore the scrumptious subject of chocolate. We have over 20 super themed websites on offer. We  explore: where chocolate comes from and the cacao plant, how chocolate is made, its history and the geography involved, Fairtrade chocolate, science experiments using chocolate, some really delicious chocolate recipes and more…

All of our featured themes are made up of a mixture of teaching and investigation resources. They comprise of: information, facts, research, hands-on activities illustrations and video clips, as well as some detailed planning – each of which will effectively underpin our very engaging and wonderful topics.

The featured theme is updated monthly during the school year. Watch out for our great ‘Victorians’ resources coming in January 2017!

Our aim is to take the effort and guesswork out of finding the best online resources that are available for teachers.
